Welcome to WSSC’s Customer Notification System!
 
In our continuing effort to provide great customer service, we are launching a new Customer Notification System (CNS, for short) to alert you about WSSC-related incidents in your area that may affect your service or daily routine.

Register below and have e-mail and/or text message alerts about WSSC work occurring near your home, office, school or other important address delivered to your computers, cell phones and/or Short Message Service (SMS) devices (Blackberry, Treo, etc).

You can choose the WSSC-related news you want to receive. There’s a water main break in your neighborhood. Get an alert. WSSC is planning a meeting about this year’s budget proposal at a nearby school or community center. Get an alert. Traffic is backed up close to your office because of WSSC work. Get an alert.

In the unlikely event that a situation involving our water quality occurs, CNS will automatically alert every customer who signs up for the system.

Because of cell phone provider limitations, text alerts will consist of short messages providing key information, while e-mail alerts will deliver additional detail.

This service is FREE. However, your cell phone provider’s standard text messaging charges DO apply. WSSC cannot automatically sign you up for CNS, so we invite you to sign up below. To register additional home or work addresses, e-mails, cell phones and/or SMS devices, simply click on the button found following confirmation of your first registration. Please allow up to two weeks for your service to be activated.

CNS uses CityWatch Online Notification Solutions from Avtex, LLC for its operating system. Text alerts will come to your cell phone from Notification@avtex.com while e-mail alerts will arrive in your e-mailbox with the following subject line: CityWatch Online Notification Message ID ####.

WSSC will only use your personally identifiable information to respond to your requests and to provide you with information about WSSC. The personal information you provide to us will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected or as required by law. We do not share personal information with third parties except as necessary to carry out our business or as required by law or other legal processes, and we never sell personal information.
